The mountain views from Kaitlyn's barn made the perfect backdrop for pictures of her and her horse, Oliver, a Canadian warmblood. Horses are Kaitlyn's passion. She's been riding since she was six years old. She and Oliver show in the CHJA circuit. Kaitlyn plans to continue to compete with Oliver while studying medicine at Colorado State University. I loved including Kaitlyn's first horses, Kaite and Boomerang in her session. There's just something so special about a girl's first horse. After taking pictures near their barn, Kaitlyn, her mom and I jumped in the side by side and headed to the neighboring ranch in search of fall colors for the rest of her senior pictures. Not only did we find the creek bed lined with fall colors but a beautiful red barn as well. I love getting to get out and explore little pieces of Wyoming with my clients.
